Vine Cottage is a comfortable self-catering holiday cottage for four people. Vine Cottage is a 17th century stone cottage at the heart of the picturesque West Dorset village of Burton Bradstock. It provides an ideal base to access all the local amenities, and is just ten minutes walk to the beach. Off road parking is available under the car port Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

Burton Bradstock is a small village which nestles behind the cliffs which form part of the World Heritage Jurrassic Coast on Lyme Bay. Burton Bradstock is a pretty village which is part of the Bride Valley Conservation Area. It is made up of stone and thatched cottages. There is an attractive church, a small library, a post office and shop, garage and Spa shop and two pubs, both of which provide a variety of real ales and food throughout the year. For the younger visitors there is a small adventure playground and playing field. Hive beach is a short walk from the cottage. There is a beach café, which serves hot and cold meals and snacks and provides a very pleasant location overlooking the sea. Ample parking is available on the NT land adjacent to the beach. Vine Cottage is an ideally located for visiting the local town of Bridport and its fishing harbour at West Bay, Abbotsbury Lyme Regis and other parts of the West Country. The National Trust owns most of the coastline, which is considered an area of outstanding natural beauty and forms part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. There are numerous walks along the coastline or in the countryside, by following the footpaths or local guidebooks. If you prefer golf, visitors are made welcome throughout the year at Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club. |
